Ahead of the National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential manifesto launch tomorrow on Saturday in Mbarara City, Jolly Mugisha, the Deputy Vice President NUP Western region has said that government has started its tricks of blocking their event.

Mugisha said that despite officially writing to the Mbarara City leadership informing them about their manifesto launch, no office is yet to reply to their letter.

The NUP official also revealed that all the city hotels have been directed by government not to host them (NUP). She however said that the issue of the venue has been solved as they will hold their event at their party offices in Mbarara City.
