Bobi Wine’s decision to fly out his family yesterday to Texas, USA has attracted enormous debate amongst the public with many of his fanatics applauding his decision to safe guard his family while the regime apologists relating his move to the anticipated election chaos.

Earlier to today, Bobi Wine said that he moved his family to the US after getting credible information that the regime is planning to physically harm them. He explained that for long his family has been living in fear because of the continuous trailing from its agents.

In response to the claims, government through the Uganda Media Centre has denied having any sort of plans to endanger Bobi Wine’s family. It says that the NRM government does not believe in political assassinations.

“The NRM government and leadership has a long good track record of not harming or killing politicians, their families or opponents.

It’s an old narrative previously employed by Winnie Byanyima, Kizza Besigye and their surrogates. Remember Besigye and Sejusa even fled Uganda claiming their were in danger. Besigye and Byanyima claimed that Besigye would be poisoned while in Luzira prison 2006,” says Gov’t.

Gov’t says that Bobi Wine is lying because he has been caught off guard yet he has been encouraging other people’s relatives and children into violent riots.
