Following yesterday’s Cabinet on the fate of the learners, President Museveni is set to announce the reopening of schools tomorrow Wednesday.

The Cabinet approved the reopening of schools to non-candidate classes after a countrywide tour to schools to ascertain their preparedness is done. No date committed though Pre-primary schools are to remain closed.

According to the Cabinet meeting minutes, the resuming of education for the non candidate will resume in a staggered manner while preprimary schools will remain closed because the learners in that category can’t practice SOPS.
