Sigh of relief! Former Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Katumba Wamala has for the first time spoken about the sad incident that left him injured and claimed lives of his daughter Brenda Wamala and driver Haruna Kayondo.
In a short video recorded by one of his daughters on his hospital bed, the seemingly weak general said; “My children, I will be fine. I have survived, we have lost Brenda but that’s all God’s plan. God has given me another chance.”
He said that only his arms have been injured in the incident and he’s hopeful that he will be back soon.
