President Museveni has today evening appointed the Inspector General of Government and also reshuffled the permanent secretaries.
“By the Powers given to me under Article 223(4) of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, I hereby, appoint: 1. Inspector General of Government – Beti Namisango Kamya 2. Deputy Inspector of Government – Anne Muhairwe, ” Museveni stated.

He also appointed the Head of public Service and the Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission.
“By virtue of the Powers given to me under Article 174 (2) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, I hereby, appoint Ms. Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye as theHead of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet. I also appoint Ms. Jane Barekye as the State House Comptroller.By the Powers given to me under Article 51(1) and (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, I hereby, appoint Ms. Marriam Wangadya as Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission, ” Museveni stated.
