Centenary Bank boss injured in acid attack

Police CIID spokesperson, Charles Twiine has disclosed that a group of unknown people attacked and injured Patrick Katantazi, the Chief Manager Corporate affairs of Centenary Bank at Makindye on his way back home.

Twiine says the incident happened yesterday in the evening at around 5 pm.

He says the victim was evacuated and immediately rushed to Nsambya Hospital with severe burns.

No suspect has been arrested as the group quickly fleed the scene.

According to Centenary Bank statement, Katantazi is currently in stable condition after undergoing treatment.
