Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC) is seeking Shs500m from the government to bring back the body of former Minister of Ethics and Integrity Fr. Simon Lokodo, according to local media Bukedde TV.

Lokodo died last week after he reportedly collapsed during a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland on Thursday and was rushed to the intensive care unit, where he passed on.

UHRC where Lokodo was a member at the time of his death has reportedly requested the government to avail them funds so that they can be able to repatriate the body.
