Prior to his new appointment, Ssegawa has been serving as Mukono Municipality Councilor, a seat he won in the last general elections on an independent ticket.

Commenting about the exciting development, the Community Organiser thanked President Museveni for spotting him out of the many and giving him a chance to serve his country.

“I thank H.E for making me his Representative in Jinja South. I promise to serve my country diligently,” Ssegawa assured.
