Top government officials, including the President of the country, Yoweri Museveni, have spent the day at Kololo independence grounds praying for the body of fallen Speaker Jacob Oulanyah Lokori.

While addressing the gathering, Museveni revealed that he is not happy with the creator for calling Oulanyah at a young age.

According to Museveni, he doesn’t believe it was God who called the fallen speaker because he has been doing good things.

“This business of God calling us. Why does God like to call Africans only? He calls Oulanyah at 56 years of age. The average life expectancy in Uganda is 63. I don’t think it is God calling these people. It is something else, “Museveni said.

He further asked political leaders not to vie for the position of the Speaker of Parliament when they have health complications.

He added that the position is very stressful and can be dangerous to those who are not healthy.

“Health is a weapon. I came to know about Jacob Oulanyah’s health problem when he went to Dubai for treatment. If he had told me earlier, I would have told him to concentrate on his health. He was busy involving himself in his work, “Museveni noted.
