Police in Nakaseke are hunting for Senyondo, a headteacher of Maranathan Primary school for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old girl.
The suspect is said to have lured the pupil and allegedly committed the offence on May 8, 2022, when he forcefully performed a sexual act on the victim.
According to Isah Semwogerere, the Savannah Policing Region spokesperson, the parents reported the case to Kiwoko police, who commenced investigations.
The victim narrated her ordeal to the police.
“Upon learning of the incident, parents reported the case to Kiwoko police, who commenced investigations vide Nakaseke/CRB/242/2022. The scene was visited, exhibits collected, statements recorded and the victim was examined on PF 3 at Nakaseke hospital,” said Semwogerere.
He said the search for the runaway headmaster continues.
