Rubongoya Arrest: “He threatened Health Minister Aceng,” says Police

Police has confirmed the arrest of the National Unity Platform (NUP) party Secretary General, David Lewis Rubongoya, and his driver, Agaba Godwin.

The duo was arrested today and detained at Nateete Police Station on allegations of threatening violence in the recently concluded Omoro by-election.

According to the Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, Rubongoya and his driver, Agaba, allegedly threatened the Minister of Health, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng.
