Mother arrested for strangling her own 6-year-old daughter to death

Kakira police are holding Tilutya Suzan, aged 35, a resident of Nkalenge village in Busede Sub County, Jinja District, for allegedly strangling her six-year-old daughter to death.

Shock engulfed the residents after landing on the lifeless body of the girl dumped in a sugar cane plantation. The girl has been identified as Namugaya Mercy.

Kakira Police arrested the mother for further investigations.
