Trailer knocks dead law student

A trailer at Makerere Kavule struck and killed a law student who was riding a boda boda.

The accident happened at around 1:35 p.m. and involved a motor vehicle (registration number UAY 005Q/UAD894Q Mercedes Benz) and a motorcycle.

The deceased has been identified as Nakiboneka Jalia, a student of the Law Development Centre, Lira Campus.

The rider of the motorcycle took off immediately after the accident, according to the police.

The body of the deceased was conveyed to the city mortuary for postmortem.
