Former NUP candidate Simon Toolit, who ran in the recent Omoro by-election, is dead

Former National Unity Platform (NUP) flagbearer in the recent Omoro by-election, Simon Toolit has passed on.

According to reports, Simon Toolit was admitted to Lacor Hospital in Gulu two days ago and passed on this afternoon.

Details about his exact illness are scanty.
