Police in North West Nile Region and Yumbe district have arrested a 24-year-old mother identified as Nadio Manjubo, for hacking to death her four-month-old son, Angelo Buga. The incident happened on July 19.

According to the police, the mother gruesomely cut her son into pieces. She reportedly proceeded to stuff the body pieces into a saucepan and boiled them, claiming she had the urge to eat meat.

After her arrest, Nadio Manjubo appeared before Yumbe court last Friday and  was remanded to Yumbe prison to await further legal proceedings for the murder charge.
