34 arrested in operation to curb street crime in Kampala

The Central Police Station (CPS) in Kampala has carried out a successful operation leading to the arrest of 34 individuals suspected of being part of criminal gangs operating in the Central Business District.

These gangs have been engaged in various criminal activities, such as vandalizing parked and moving motor vehicles, snatching phones, pickpocketing, and other offenses.

The arrested suspects are in custody at the Central Police Station Kampala, and thorough investigations are underway to gather evidence and ensure due process.
