A woman has stabbed her husband, Gumisiriza Amos, a resident of Rushambya village in Ibanda district, for allegedly using her Kyeyo money to marry another wife. The incident happened on July 30 at around 5 p.m.

It’s alleged that Atuhaire Justin went to Saudi Arabia for work. While there, she kept sending money to her husband, Gumisiriza Amos, for development purposes. However, when she returned recently, she found out that her husband had used the money to marry another woman.

Atuhaire allegedly stabbed Gumisiriza to death with a sharp object. She tried to flee from the scene but was intercepted by locals who lynched her.
