Kampala Parents School has once again posted an outstanding performance in the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), registering a perfect 100 per cent pass rate.
The results were officially released on Friday by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) at State House Nakasero in Kampala.
At Kampala Parents School, celebrations erupted after all candidates qualified for secondary education. Of the candidates who sat the examinations, 96 attained First Grade (Division One), while 89 scored Second Grade (Division Two), maintaining the school’s long-standing record of academic excellence.

Nationally, a total of 817,883 pupils from 15,388 examination centres registered for the 2025 PLE, an increase from 797,444 candidates in 2024. Of these, 522,036 candidates (63.8 per cent) were from Universal Primary Education (UPE) schools, while 295,847 (36.2 per cent) were from non-UPE institutions.
UNEB reported that 91,990 candidates, representing 11.39 per cent, achieved Division One results nationwide—an increase of 7,689 candidates compared to the previous year. The board also noted that boys performed slightly better than girls in the higher divisions, with English emerging as the best-performed subject overall.
The school’s Principal, Daphine Kato, attributed the impressive results to strong academic systems and consistent preparation. She said the school’s approach includes regular assessments, early syllabus coverage, focused revision programmes, strict discipline, and close cooperation between teachers and parents.
“We are proud of our 96 First Grades, which place our learners in a strong position to join some of Uganda’s top secondary schools,” Kato said.

She congratulated the candidates on their success and encouraged them to remain disciplined and hardworking as they transition to secondary education, urging them to continue upholding the school’s reputation.
Kampala Parents School is one of the education institutions under the Ruparelia Group, owned by businessman Sudhir Ruparelia. The group also manages Kampala International School Uganda, Delhi Public School and Victoria University.
