Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said the incident happened at about 11:30am on Ggaba Road in Kampala.

Police at Kabalagala Division are now investigating the robbery.

“Once we received the report, we visited the scene, recorded witness statements, reviewed CCTV footage and recovered key evidence to support the case,” Owoyesigyire said.

“We are working to identify, trace and arrest everyone involved. We assure the public that we will bring the attackers to justice.”

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects to report to the nearest police station.
