Investigative journalist and former NBS Television news anchor Solomon Serwanjja is seeking to become the LC1 chairperson of Bamutakudde Village in Ddundu Parish, Kyampisi Subcounty, Mukono District.

Serwanjja announced his bid through his verified X account, where he shared a campaign poster carrying the slogan “Obwerufu n’Ekulakulana”, which translates to “Transparency and Development.”

The upcoming LC1 elections are scheduled for Tuesday, 28 July 2026. Unlike other elections, voters will choose their preferred candidates by lining up behind them.
