NBS TV news anchor Canary Mugume and his wife, Fiona Naggirinya, better known as Sasha Ferguson, celebrated their first marriage anniversary on Sunday with sweet messages.

The couple took to Instagram to share their heartwarming messages. As the saying goes, ‘ladies first’, Shasha was the first, as usual, to post on her official Instagram page saying their marriage is a timeless celebration.

“Today is our wedding anniversary. It is just a momentary celebration, but our marriage is a timeless celebration we do every day,” wrote Shasha.

Mugume also shared two posts on Instagram, in which in the first post he praised his wife, and in the other post, he shared a video highlighting moments from their wedding last year.

“It’s been a year already! I love the way you love me. Happy First Anniversary to The First Lady [Sasha Ferguson],” wrote Mugume.

“To all the people who joined us in this celebration 1 year ago. We love you! Tag them if you recognize any,” he captioned the video.

Last year, Mugume got married to his long-time fiancée turned wife, Sasha Ferguson.
