Express FC lands Shs305m mega deal from DSTV

Express FC “Mukwano Gwabangi” yesterday unveiled its new sponsorship deal from DSTV worth Shs305m. The event was held at Golf Course Hotel in Kampala.

Chairman Multi Choice, Steven Musoke said; “We are here today not only to celebrate our sponsorship of Express FC but also to make sports and football in particular a better sport in Uganda.”

During the launch Express FC was represented by the team Chairperson and Minister for Youth Hon. Nakiwala Kiyingi.

“We do not take lightly your commitment. It serves as a great reminder of our legendary position in the soccer fraternity and we are geared to continue working tirelessly as we seek to climb up the table. We shall not disappoint.”  Nakiwala said while appreciating DSTV.

This deal will run throughout this season and will help the club in various activities broken down as follows; Shs1.3m full kit decoders, playing kits worth Shs19m, Shs50m sponsorship fee, Shs64m branding club stadium, Shs100m for communications then Shs12m for match day activities.

Express now joins other Ugandan clubs which have already landed such mega deals including Vipers FC sponsored by Hima Cement and newly promoted Onduparaka FC sponsored by Betway. SC Villa and KCCA FC recently landed Star Times sponsorship packages.
