Tooro Golf Club’s Peace Kabasweka is surly setting her eye on the prize and the bragging rights to  this year’s ladies Title in the on going Uganda Open championship that is currently underway at the Uganda golf club in kitante.

Kabasweka who is the leadboard contender shot a gross score of 79 earlier proving that she is clearly set for the tittle as other lady golfers struggled on as the course was riddled by rain that made conditions difficult for other golfers bringing in a disappointing three figures with Rebecca Muwanguzi retuning 103 , Chandiru Phoebe retuning  102, and  Regina Namata  with 100 gross.

However the lead board is still fertile for take over as the ladies Open still has a few days to stretch. Golfers like last year’s runner up  Irene Nakalembe who was playing in a 3 ball pair of Caroline Namutebi and Tooro Club’s Mackline Nsenga have managed a gross score of 81, title  holder Martha Babirye is joint second with Nakalembe on 81 and Playing on home course, Judith Komugisha managing  82 are still well in for the tittle.
