2022 CECAFA Senior Women’s Championship: FUFA to reward Shs5m to each member of Crested Cranes

Local football governing body, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) president, Moses Magogo, has promised to reward Shs5 million to each member of the Crested Cranes.

On Saturday, the Uganda Women’s National Football Team won the 2022 CECAFA Senior Women’s Championship after overcoming Burundi in the final played at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Uganda secured a 3-1 win to emerge the winners for the first time ever. Sandra Nabweteme scored a brace while Fazila Ikwaput netted the other goal.
