World Athletics Championships: Winnie Nanyondo qualifies for 1500m semi-final

Uganda’s Winnie Nanyondo has qualified for the World Athletics Championships Women’s 1500 Meters semi-final.

Winnie Nanyondo has been the first Team Uganda athlete to compete at the 2022 World Athletics Championships and she ran at 4:32 am.

She competed in heat 6 and posted a time of 4:03.81.

Meanwhile, more Ugandans will be gracing the track today with Peruth Chemutai competing in the women’s 3000m steeplechase at 8:35 pm.
