NBL PLAYOFFS: JKL Lady Dolphins, City Oilers are a game away from defending their respective division titles

City Oilers and JKL Lady Dolphins are just a game away from defending their respective titles after both sides overcame their opponents in game four of the Tusker Lite National Basketball League finals playoffs played last evening at MTN Arena Lugogo.

JKL Lady Dolphins beat UCU Lady Canons 50-59 to stretch their best of seven series lead to 3-1. The Lady Dolphins are closing in on their fourth consecutive NBL title in the women’s division.

Similarly, City Oilers seems unstoppable in winning their eighth consecutive title in the men’s division after they stretched their lead to 3-1. Oilers beat Nam Blazers 77-74 to win game four of the best of seven series.

Meanwhile, for Nam Blazers and UCU Lady Canons, they must win all the remaining games (three) if they’re to win this year’s championships.

Their comeback mission must start on Friday evening during game five.
