Ugandan left back Mustafa Kizza and his Portuguese club Futebol Clube de Arouca have parted ways by mutual consent.

The player who joined the team just five months ago had his contract terminated, the club announced last night.

“Arouca FC and Kizza have reached an agreement for the friendly termination of contract,” a statement by the club read.

Following another contract termination by Major League club CF Montreal in December of last year, Kizza joined FC Arouca as a free agent in July of this year.

Kizza, who joined the club on a three-year contract, leaves without playing any competitive games for the club and only making a few appearances on the bench.
