In a warm-up game ahead of the upcoming World Cup tournament, Uganda’s national netball team, She Cranes, showcased their prowess by securing a convincing victory against Barbados, with a final scoreline of 53-33.

The match played on Sunday at Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa, was a test to assess the team’s preparedness for the highly anticipated World Cup competition.

Adding to the excitement, UK-based shooter Mary Nuba made a last-minute entry into the team, joining just a day before the game. Despite her short time with the squad, Nuba’s performance on the court left a positive impression, earning her praise from the coaches and further strengthening the team’s potential.

With their sights set on victory, the She Cranes are determined to conquer each phase of the competition, including the challenging pool legs.
