The Cup Semifinals of the 2024 men’s Rugby Africa Cup, scheduled for Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Wednesday, have been shifted back to Namboole Stadium after a technical evaluation of the facility.

The organizing committee, however, says that Wankulukuku remains an alternative/emergency venue for the tournament.

Match day two will kick off at 10 a.m. with the classification semifinal between Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire. The Rugby Cranes will face Burkina Faso in another classification semifinal, which kicks off at 12 p.m.

The Rugby Cranes only need to avoid an eighth-place finish to remain in contention for a World Cup slot.

Two-time winners of the competition, Kenya, will face Algeria in the first main semifinal, while the reigning champions, Namibia, play Zimbabwe in the last fixture of the day.
