From giving us couple goals, donning matching outfits to growing and glowing up together, Next media’s Canary Mugume and Sasha Ferguson’s relationship has stood the test of time and once again given us reasons to believe in love.

Last evening Canary pulled a gentleman’s move and proposed to Sasha. The two have been together for more than six years and are said to have met when the then WBS TV Teen’s club presenter Sasha was only 17 years old.

“We met when I was still at WBS TV and he was with BUZZ Events company. They came to the station to promote a teens show and was asked to handle them. That was the beginning of us,” Sasha once said in an interview.

Even with Canary’s journalism career blossoming and a number of girls eyeing him, Sasha has always been confident of her man’s love for her and after the engagement we must admit that she was right.

In one of Sasha’s online interviews, When asked whether she wasn’t scared of Canary trying out another relationship, Sasha said that Canary is scared of losing her.

“He fears losing me. He knows my worth. I am beautiful with brains, which kind of  man wants to lose such,” said Sasha.

Sasha deals in real estates and also has a charity organization called Draw a Smile. To celebrate the couple’s milestone, Matooke Republic has gathered a few photos to take you down the memory lane of the Canary and Sasha love story.
