Kampala cocktail week kicked off last week in a grand style at The Alchemist in Kampala. The cocktail week offers a new urban brunch culture to Kampala’s fast advancing dining scene. For starters, brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch eaten usually during the late morning, but it can extend to as late as 3pm. Uganda’s premium gin took the fun at Rider’s lounge revelers treated themselves with new refreshing gin and juice twist. Mixologists crafted a brunch menu paired with different flavours of the cocktails.

Guests too, had their own shot at crafting their own unique mix that let good times flow out of their creative juices. Kampala cocktail week will run till 10th December in over 30 participating bars and lounges. All you have to do is walk in and treat yourself with a Uganda waragi mix.

All cocktails were served at Ugx 15,000 and a carafe (3 glasses) at Ugx 40,000. We were at Rider’s lounge. Take a look.
