South African Star Shekhinah confirmed to fly in for B&W

Pop/R&B vocalist and songwriter, Shekhinah Thandi is coming to Uganda next month to perform at the 22ndedition of Blankets and Wine.

Organisers of the show revealed that the South African singer will be the headline performer at the upcoming April edition of the music festival powered by Tusker Malt Lager.

The young artist is a household name in Durban, South Africa after having risen in the music industry following her first major gig in the Hit television show, ‘Idols’ where she landed in the top six overall.

Her talent has earned her recognition as the highest South African streamed album and nominated for South African Female Artist of the year in the 2018 AFRIMMA’s.

Shekhinah’s debut album ‘Rosegold’ has successfully been certified platinum with her hit singles ‘Suited’, ‘Please Mr’ and ‘Different’ earning her continental recognition. The show is confirmed for Sunday, April 28 only at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Other local artists to share the stage with the singer are King Saha, Sammy Kasule, Lamu among many others.

This April edition is definitely going to be the ultimate South African experience.
