The Democratic Party (DP) presidential candidate, Norbert Mao, has promised to set up a music studio for Museveni if he becomes president.

Mao made the promise while campaigning in Masaka. He said that Museveni likes singing and because of his love for music he even recorded a song called ‘Mpa enkoni’.

According to Mao, he believes that Museveni has a dream of becoming a big musician and when he becomes a President he will set up a studio for Museveni in Rwakitura so that his dream of becoming a super star comes true.

“I am not Museveni’s enemy but I  have seen he prefers  being a musician to being a President, he even recorded a song called ‘mpa enkoni’ so when I become a president, I am going to set up a big music studio for him in Rwakitura so that he fulfill his dream of becoming one of the biggest musicians,” Mao said.

He also promised to improve farming systems and also create jobs for Ugandans saying he is tired of watching youth being idle without jobs.
