Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat (POA) has been blocked by police from making his campaign address in Nakawa division.

Police intercepted POA who was moving a procession before they decided to shoot at his car. Barefooted POA decided to abandon his broken down car and jumped on a boda to boda.

“Whatever the provocations, the message must be delivered,” said POA. By press time, police was chasing after him.

According to Police, POA is not following the agreed campaigning routes that he submitted to the regional police commander.

The FDC presidential candidate is expected to campaign in Nakawa Division and Kawempe.

Yesterday, POA’s campaign trail was teargased at Nsono Trading center Buyinja SC, Namayingo district as police blocked their campaigns claiming they had a gazetted venue to do their campaigns.
