Ruparelia Group Managing Director- Rajiv Ruparelia only Ugandan recognized in #Choiseul100Africa 2024

Rajiv Ruparelia, the Managing Director of the Ruparelia Group, has been recognized in the prestigious #Choiseul100Africa 2024.

The #Choiseul100Africa recognizes the top 100 young African leaders under the age of 40 who are shaping the continent’s future.

Rajiv’s leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence have earned him this coveted spot, making him the only Ugandan to be included in this year’s list.

Business magnate Sudhir Ruparelia, the Chairman of Ruparelia Group, also the father of Rajiv, applauded the recognition, saying, “Rajiv’s hard work, vision, and dedication to excellence have truly set him apart.”

Sudhir further highlighted that Rajiv’s contributions to the Ruparelia Group have been remarkable, as he has consistently brought innovative ideas and strategies that have propelled the company to new heights.


“His leadership has played a vital role in shaping our companies’ success and expanding their influence within Uganda and beyond. Being named the only young leader in Uganda for this award is an incredible honor, and it reflects the dedication and commitment Rajiv has shown throughout his career,” Sudhir said.


He further added; “Rajiv, your achievements inspire those around you, and I am excited to see how you will continue to influence the future. Congratulations!”


Currently out of the country, Rajiv assumed the role of Managing Director of the Ruparelia Group, one of Uganda’s largest business conglomerates, at a tender age, and has managed to steer it to greater heights.

Rajiv has so far been able to manifest himself as a dynamic and visionary leader, and has overseen key developments in the real estate, finance, and hospitality sectors, of solidifying the family conglomerate’s influence across the region.


Rajiv is known for his innovative approach to business and he continues to inspire a new generation of business leaders in Uganda and beyond, with his management style.


Companies under the Ruparelia Group include Premier Recruitment Limited, Crane Management Services Limited, Delhi Public International School, Goldstar Insurance Company Limited, Kabira Country Club – Bukoto, Kampala International School Uganda, Kampala Parents’ School, Kampala Speke Hotel, Meera Investments Limited, and Speke Resort Munyonyo, among others.


The group also owns several properties in Uganda, across the East African region, and other parts of the world.
