Victoria University has shared design impressions of its planned new campus in Naguru, Kampala, giving the public a glimpse of what is expected to become a major new landmark in the area.
Vice Chancellor Prof Lawrence Muganga said the new campus will be located opposite Phanero Grounds, with construction expected to begin this year.

Sharing the impressions, Prof Muganga stressed that the images are not random AI-generated concepts but reflect how the university envisions its new campus.
“This is not AI random pics but exactly how we envision the university to look,” Prof Muganga said.

The project is being developed on land provided by Victoria University proprietor Dr Sudhir Ruparelia, who has made prime land available for the planned modern campus.
The new facility is expected to accommodate thousands of students as Victoria University continues to expand. The university currently operates from its Jinja Road and Kampala Centre campuses and serves more than 5,000 students.

Victoria University is a private institution chartered by the National Council for Higher Education, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas including business, law, engineering, health sciences, humanities, social sciences, computing and technology.
The university has positioned itself around practical and career-focused education, with an emphasis on innovation, entrepreneurship, research and links with industry.
The Naguru campus is expected to add to the university’s growing presence in Uganda and provide additional space for its expanding student population.
