[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n Sunday June 28, Eddy Kenzo could make history as the first Ugandan artiste to bring home a BET award.
Kenzo was nominated in a new category, the Viewer’s Choice “Best International” category and he is up against South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest, the United Kingdom’s MIC Lowry, George the Poet and Novelist and Ghana’s Mz Vee.
Thanks to a big social media campaign that even other celebrities have jumped on to vote their own, Kenzo is leading the pack and he could lift the trophy if the votes keep coming.
