African stars have converged in Durban for the MTV Africa Music Awards (Mamas).
Uganda is represented by Jose Chameleone who is nominated in the Mama Evolution award alongside nine other African stars who have pushed the envelope of African music over the past decade.
Bebe Cool is the other Ugandan representative and he is nominated in the Video of The Year category.
It is only a few hours before we know the winners, but Bebe Cool and Chameleone are up to a lot down South. While Bebe Cool is shooting his African girl video, Chameleone is network with fellow African stars and this afternoon he was with Nigerian star D’Banj of the Fall In Love fame. The two are nominated in the same category. We don’t know if a collabo is in the works though.
