Music star Jose Chameleone has opened up about his experience of single life, joking that one of the biggest changes is being able to admire women without worrying about being questioned.
Speaking to fans during a TikTok live session, Chameleone described his life as a bachelor as enjoyable and said he now feels freer than he did while married.
The singer said he previously had to be cautious whenever he looked at other women, even joking that he would hide behind his glasses to avoid attracting attention.
“Single life is so fun. Those days I used to even fear looking at women. But now, I have all the confidence to look at them without anyone stopping me,” he said.
Chameleone added that he no longer feels the need to hide his intentions, comparing the change to a wall being removed from his home.
“It feels like a wall fence was broken off my home. I used to disguise myself in my glasses to look at women, but now I boldly take them off and look as hard as I want because no one can question me,” he added.
His comments come amid reports about the ongoing breakdown of his marriage to Daniella Atim.
The couple got married in June 2008 at St James Catholic Parish in Kampala and were together for 16 years. Their relationship began facing challenges after they started living separately more than five years ago, following Daniella’s relocation to the United States with their children.
Daniella later filed for divorce, citing desertion, adultery and cruelty. In her court filings, she said the marriage had irretrievably broken down, accusing Chameleone of failing to provide the love, care and support she expected.
