Anne Kansiime knows no jokes when critics claim she’s run out of steam. It was no “joking subject” when Motion Graphics Designer and Video Producer, Loukman Ali joined the world of critics at least for a day. If you thought only Timothy Kalyegira had mastered the art of rubbishing entertainment products, you have to think again.
Luokman took to his Facebook page to express his dissatisfaction with comedian Ann Kansiime. He labeled her as “annoying, loud and unfunny character” something that did not go well with Kansiime.
“I keep seeing this annoying DStv ad with the annoying, loud and unfunny Ann kansiime, I don’t understand why people find her funny, she has only one joke (the old accent joke) Switching ad aware back on!” read the post. Loukman’s post attracted hundreds of comments with some claiming that Anne is better off as a dramatist than a comedian.
Anne Kansiime, the self-proclaimed ninja did not take the kick lying. She kicked right back with veiled response reeking of anger and frustration.
“I hope u soon find the joke yo looking for. Otherwise I will keep doing what I do for my ninjas. Thnx for your feedback boss. Much appreciated.”
She completed her black-belt winning move by blocking Loukman. Anne Kansiime fans disagreed with Loukman claiming they still find her funny.
Loukman did not lie down and surrender to the kick. He responded with another post, “A real comedian would have had a comical come back, not feelings!”
There is a growing public debate about Anne Kansiime’s comedy. However, she keeps bagging awards abroad. A case of a prophet being appreciated outside her homeland and crucified at home? Your take!
