Singer Irene Ntale has quit Swangz Avenue. The “Olindaba” singer shocked her fans with a long post that announced her sudden decision.

Iryn Ntale

“My dearest Fans and friends, they say time flies, and today seems like one of those days when one takes it in stride to announce that after a lot of contemplation, I am officially departing from Swangz Avenue!” reads her post in part.

“I have made my intentions known to my record label and we have both come to an understanding that this is the best move forward.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Swangz Avenue for the knowledge and experience I have gained there. I am truly grateful for the time I have spent with the team along with the musical and professional relationships I have built. I believe both Swangz Avenue and I have enjoyed a remarkable partnership

Last year, there were rumours of her intentions to exit Swangz Avenue. According to the claims, she was unhappy with preferential treatment given to counter part the bootylicious Winnie Nwagi who was rumoured to have won the hearts, bookings and thus more money than her. She however denied these rumours and Swangz repaid her loyalty by organising her maiden concert which sold out.

The singer will for the moment have her sister Sandra Ntale Byenkya taking care of the bookings.
