Just like you might have, we were wondering where a rare comedian like Bright Onak would garner resources to acquire a bar in the leafy Naalya suburb! Then we learnt that Onak is not your average comedian that earns off gigs in pubs and functions; he is a big time produce dealer who also owns other businesses.
A source close to the on-and-off comic told us Onak is also a car dealer. And a few weeks back, Onak added a bar on his list of businesses! Our source told us Onak recently took over former Big Brother Africa Uganda housemate- Sharon O’s defunct Blue Ice bar in Naalya.
The source intimated that Sharon O fell out with the landlord over uncleared rent bills. It’s not clear if Onak paid Sharon O anything for the takeover or he simply entered into a new agreement with the landlord. Whatever the case, we wish you all the best Onak.
