Visiting Congolese star Awilo Longomba has pointed out Eddy Kenzo and Jose Chameleone as exceptional Ugandan musicians who are big internationally and are representing Ugandan music well outside our borders. Awilo was speaking to the media in a press conference this evening.

“Before I came I discovered Jose Chameleone and Eddy Kenzo. They’re international musicians. You don’t have to worry about Ugandan music, they’re representing it well across the world,” Awilo said.

“I did a show with Eddy Kenzo in Dubai, the Africa One where there were very many artistes from across Africa, and he was great. I also performed with the comedian Salvador.”
