From the moment he stepped on stage at 10:30 till the curtains came down at a few minutes to midnight, Awilo kept on their feet the capacity crowd that attended his concert tat Serena. It was clearly one of the most enjoyed shows ever in Ugandan history –you’d be hard-placed to mention a show that was both a class affair (ordinary tickets went for Sh100,000) and a complete dance-fest and sing-along party.
