Singer, songwriter and guitarist Irene Ntale releasd the first song under new management partnership with entertainment giant Universal Music Group (UMG) Africa titled “Nyamba.”

In Nyamba, Ntale is singing, rather begging her lover to believe her love for him and come take what belongs to him.

The song is a blend of lyrics in Luganda and English written by Ntale with the help of Ossi, a songwriter from Nigeria, and produced by the very talented Blaisebeatz from Nigeria as well.

Blaisebeatz’s magic on the keys produced a beat that incorporates different instruments onto which Ntale’s sweet voice fell perfectly to make a mid-tempo ballad that will make you get out of the seat and dance. This is also a song you can surely send to your lover if you run out of words to explain how you feel.

The background vocals were blended in well to backup Ntale at different sections of the song, something that greatly adds to the sweetness of the song.

Listen to Nyamba here.

The track is relatively short, spanning only two minutes and 50 seconds, and that’s what we feel is the only weak part of the song.

OUR RATING:

7/10.
