Tshaka Mayanja toasts to 30 on 30th at The Johnnie Walker All Music Safari concert next week

Black Roots Unlimited reggae band leader Tshaka Mayanja will be celebrating 30 years in Uganda’s entertainment industry on November 30, next week at the Johnnie Walker All Music Safari concert slated to take place at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

The reggae maestro, songwriter, producer and promoter who is the founder of the annual Jazz and Soul Safari concerts has prepared an action-packed live concert to mark a groundbreaking moment by literally taking his guests on an enticing music safari with RnB star Mya as the headlining act of the All Music Safari.

The concert will take revellers on a blast from the past and the present with a collection of music genres like RnB, Hiphop, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Rock and so much more featuring celebrity artists like Kenneth Mugabi, Jose Sax, Kaz Kasozi, Myko Ouma, Black Roots Unlimited, Generale Czar’bu among many others.

Mayanja who has promoted the Jazz and Soul Music Safaris for over 11 years is widely recognized for his contribution to the growth and appreciation of music within Uganda’s audience on a massive scale. He has journeyed through 30 years of organizing and promoting quality music concerts adding respect and value for his work in the industry.

“It is important to celebrate when you achieve a great milestone. It is by the grace of The Most High and my ancestors through whom I’m spiritually guided that we are here, and we are doing this work as their vessels, that is worth celebrating,” said Mayanja.

The Johnnie Walker-sponsored concert is an annual musical event that brings together musicians and music lovers. It has featured international acts like Ginuwine, Yola Semedo, Marcus Anderson, Richard Bona, Joe Thomas, Keith Sweat, Karyn Whyte among others.

Tickets to the event go for Shs100,000 at the gate with Platinum/VIP going for Shs300,000 and a table of 10 going for Shs3 mullion.
