Eddy Kenzo joins star lineup for CHAN 2024 final in Kenya

The African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) will come to a grand close on Saturday, 30 August, after a successful month-long campaign.

As the tournament draws to an end, fans can look forward to a dazzling entertainment lineup, featuring performances from some of East Africa’s top musical stars.

Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will be well represented, with former Sauti Sol star Savara, Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo, and Tanzania’s Zuchu (Zahara Othman) headlining the closing ceremony.

This star-studded cast embodies the rich musical spirit of the East African region.

Their performance is expected to electrify and captivate the thousands of fans set to attend the highly anticipated final, providing a fitting conclusion to a memorable tournament.

On the pitch, Morocco and Madagascar have booked their places in the CHAN 2024 final after dramatic semi-final victories on Tuesday, 26 August.

The two sides will face off at Nairobi’s Kasarani Stadium (Moi International Sports Centre) on Saturday, 30 August, in what promises to be a historic showdown.

Although co-hosts Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania were eliminated in the quarter-finals, the grand finale is set to deliver a thrilling climax to an already unforgettable competition.
