What’s the best cocktail you’ve had in Uganda? And where did you drink it? In Kampala, you can find cocktails for every taste, but knowing where to look can be daunting, as there’s so much choice.

The Amplified Bartenders, the experts in serving drinks in bars, have come up with a unique cocktail style they want to reveal to the country in their festival dubbed Cocktail in the City, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Central Perk Kampala.

While launching the event at the hosting venue on Monday, Amos Waiswa, the Amplified Bartender revealed that they came up with this idea to show Ugandans especially the revelers that there is a new and a unique way of having your drink and later doesn’t be a burden unto your life because it reduces the alcoholic content in those spirits but again you remain with that flavor you may need in any drink of your choice.

For starters, a cocktail is an alcoholic drink with spirit or spirits mixed with other ingredients like fruit juice or cream.

“You know cocktail but people just drink it but don’t know how and what’s in that glass but in this festival, we are going to show you how cocktail is made, which ingredients do we put in the cocktail.

“We want to show the fine way of drinking, we want to lift our fellow bartenders, we want to show our bosses that besides servicing customers, we have other art we can showcase and increase on the sales, ” said Amos Waiswa.

Amos Waiswa, the brain behind the event assured revelers to expect what they have never seen before, the entrance will be free of charge and they are to have DJ Baby Love and Crystal Panda as the guest performers.
