Speke Resort Munyonyo officially kicked off the holiday season on Saturday with a charming Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony that drew families, children, and guests to an evening of warmth and celebration.

The resort transformed into a festive haven, treating visitors to live choir performances, signature holiday cocktails, Christmas tree decorating, and a special movie night for children. One of the biggest highlights was the meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, where excited children took photos, shared their Christmas wishes, and enjoyed interactive games and fun activities tailored just for them.

Beyond the night’s festivities, Speke Resort and Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo continue to stand out as one of East Africa’s top luxury hospitality destinations. The property features 477 rooms in nine categories—from Presidential Suites and Cottages to Executive and Superior Rooms—each offering scenic views of Lake Victoria or the resort’s beautifully manicured gardens.
