The government is set to introduce a National Cleaning Day, with Ugandans expected to come together for community cleaning activities on the last Saturday of every month.
The initiative, according to the Office of the Prime Minister, will begin this Saturday from 8am to 11am and aims to encourage communities across the country to take collective responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean, healthy and safe.
But what do you think about the move? Do you support the idea of having a designated day each month for communities to clean their neighbourhoods, or should cleanliness be treated as a daily responsibility?
